Woodvalley was commissioned to deliver three new retail units plus car parking facilities, which involved major configuration works and hard and soft landscaping.
Works on the units included delivery of a new build shell and core finish, steel frames, concrete floors and sub dividing walls. The outer building envelope involved installation of a new composite panel roof and curtain walling system, with a new glazed façade.
The project required careful logistics planning due to public access to the retail park. Woodvalley sequenced external reconfiguration works to concentrate higher intensity work in less busy times of the day and week. We also configured commercial delivery routes and pedestrian traffic to ensure minimum disruption and people’s safety.
