Our client invested in a characterful property with the necessary raw ingredients for a 21st century workspace.
Woodvalley was appointed to its design and build, to make sure our client’s vision of a high-end contemporary open plan warehouse was achieved.
Delivering the vision involved stripping back the 1980s building to its shell, to reveal the building’s structural steel and reinforced concrete frame. It also depended upon effective reconfiguration of the main reception area and the exposed mechanical and engineering services within the new open plan office space.
Our design team eliminated the subdivisions within the reception area to create a free-flowing, light and airy environment. Mechanical and engineering services were centrally stacked, creating symmetry and clean lines and enabling maximum exposure of the original concrete ceilings.
The team spirit and openness of all parties working on this project ensured delivery of the client’s vision on budget and to schedule.
